5th Edition of Anatomy Lab Manual is Finished!!

5th Edition of Anatomy Lab Manual is Finished!!

In the spring of 2009 I had a good idea that turned into a great tool for our students to use while learning their anatomy. I had been teaching anatomy from a book that was not altogether correct and I grew tired of correcting all of the typos and drawings that were improperly labeled. So, I decided to do something about it. I used several computer programs together and wrote an anatomy lab manual of my very own. It’s easy to comprehend, containing only the information the students need. There’s no need for them to take notes! We place all the pages in sheet protectors so they can practice drawing, coloring and labeling the diagrams over and over again with a dry erase marker until they were sure that they have learned the material.

After using the manual for the first class I soon learned that it needed more work. I took every spare moment I had and enclosed myself in my office (now called the bat cave) and worked tirelessly on the next edition and then the next edition. After listening to each class and their valued opinions I think I’ve finally found the right format, content and order that the next class will find most useful.

Thank you March 2009 class for finding all of my typos… Thank you July 2009 class for adding new anatomy terms… Thank you August 2009 class for opening my eyes to new approaches… Thank you January 2010 class for challenging me and forcing me to become the better teacher I am today… Thank you March 2010 class for being patient with me while I picked your brain for more compelling ways to present the material. I couldn’t have done it with out you!!!

Congratulations to the July class 2010… You’ve made a very wise choice in massage therapy schools. I look forward to our advice on how I can make the 6th edition even more fantastic for the future!!
